2026 sees a continued development in my study of texture, light and shadow in landscape.
During my completion of all the Wainwrights in 2024 I started to produce small A4 pieces of work, these are now integral to my practice.
Larger pieces are places to explore poetry text and layers of visual motes and meaning in mountain landscapes.
With my wife Cathryn Beckett, we have rebuilt and renovated our old barn into a beautiful studio and gallery in Clifton Dykes near Penrith.
Brightside Barn ( www.brightsidebarn.co.uk ) is our working Studio/Gallery and the door is always open to pop in and look at all our current original work
and mooch about and have a rummage through any older work.
A lot of my Wales pieces are available to see in the Rhos Framing Co, Rhos on Sea, North Wales, ask Duncan to show you the portfolio.
